ATTENTION: CALLING ALL THOSE THAT FEEL LONELY

Calling on all those who feel lonely. I am typing and watching Foo Fighters on TV tonight. They play really good music. From my understanding, the singer of this band used to be the drummer for Nirvana. I started to think about Nirvana and thinking about when Kurt Cobain took his own life. This was a guy who was so depressed that he got to the point he did not want to be helped and is why he took his life to another level, as I call it. He stated in his suicide note,  quote, “The fact is, I can’t fool you, any one of you. It simply isn’t fair to you or me. The worst crime I can think of would be to rip people off by faking it and pretending as if I’m having 100% fun”.  Unquote……

He walked on this earth with all the fame in the world, money, a beautiful family, and his music. Yet he still wasn’t happy. Why?

He was depressed, on drugs, and he could not handle the fame. Yes, this could be true, but I believe we must surround ourselves with good people, good company, and with people who love us. Kurt Cobain was only listening to his own music, instead of listening to those around him who loved him and loved his music too. There were not enough people saying the right things nor showing him that they cared. Encouraging words, hugs, kisses, are all the things he needed. Blowing his brains out was his answer, do not let it be yours. Our life is NOT a conspiracy! It is a gift from god, and we must respect it. Kurt Cobain was a beautiful person; too bad we did not get to listen to more of his music. You are also a beautiful person. Look around and smile, laugh, jump, put some music on, (70’s is my favorite), and dance your ass off! A hug from me to you….

ONE PREFERRED WAY TO GET OVER A BAD DAY

We all wake up sometimes and we know, “Okay, today is not going to be a good day”! But, we deal with it because sometimes we may have no other choice. We feel like robots, we feel exhausted, we feel just down right tired of being tired.Damn…..so what do we do?? We get up, and push through the day, and hope it gets better.

I was on Facebook the other day and I saw lots of people on my friends list with pictures of themselves all over the place. They call these “selfies” in today’s world, as my daughter says they are called anyway….Well, I took my camera and went into the room and just went selfie crazy! Yes, I did. And you know what?? It felt so damn good to take pictures of myself. I would click and look, click and look again at my pictures, and would choose the ones I liked and onto Facebook they went!! And guess what happened next???? I got soooo many likes, I started feeling even better for the day, and smiling too. I write letters, encouraging ones for someone, anyone, who may feel they need a word or two of encouragement. But I have just learned about the “Selfie picture world” too, and it feels good!

So my advice for the day is this: Feeling bad, feeling down? Noooo……go get your camera and take pictures of yourself and post them! You know why?? Because you are beautiful, and you are worth it! And you will make it through this day! But you may also email me at  nomedsonlyletters@gmail.com   if you still feel you may need a letter of encouragement or for any reason you may need one.  Image….

Embrace Your Imperfections

It is important to know and to understand that it is okay that we do not do everything right. We are human, remember? It is important to feel great about yourself, you are beautiful inside and outside. Be happy in your pain, and accept you for who you are. Live in the now and in the future, as the past is just that! The past….you can not grow if you live in the past. Grow and blossom like the flower you are.
